Found this on my GPS as I was headed north on I-65 outside of Spring Hill, TN and what a great stop it was. This 2005 Arnold Palmer / Ed Seay 3,309yd/3,498yd / Par 35/35 @ 72.9 / 128 Links layout for only $24 18/cart was a no brainier in stopping.
The Black tees (tips) were called the "Palmer" and with four (4) more working down to the 4,658 yard Forward tees to pick from. The smooth fairways had good landing areas with groomed traps well placed but playable from. The greens were nothing but FAST rolling 9-10 on this warm September day and didn't like holding the low irons coming into them.
There was only one (1) Par 4 under 400yds being #9 at 347 yards and that was a 200 yard forced carry creek, dogleg left to a well-protected green with bogie written all over it.
The Par 3's had nice yardage blocks at each tee box which was very nice to see for the 200 yds on all but one (1) being #4 at 149yds Par 3. #6. a 241yd Par 3 will show how long and accurate your driver is. I played it short because that's the only shot I had in my bag. I ended up shooting 38/40 w/31 putts and hit more 5w/3w 2nd shots to greens than I have in a long time.
This is a MUST stop for playing a Palmer course at $24 18/cart with conditions that compare to $80 tracks and located just minutes off of I-65.
